I just got word that I am unable to schedule my surgery until I have the official letter of approval from OHIP, so my date has effectively been pushed back by about: 6-7 months. :(
I am totally bummed, and I'm going to work really hard to either: get in last minute (on a cancellation) OR distracted myself as much as possible in the meantime. This is exhausting work, and while I know at the end of the day it will all be worth it, some days it's a little hard to take.
